Essential to the lipid makeup of your skin, omega-3s also support barrier function, which, when functioning well, acts as a seal to keep moisture in and toxins out.

Are you guilty of having countless cups of coffee to keep up your energy labels throughout the day? Excessive caffeine consumption can dehydrate your body and lead to a dull and dry complexion. Therefore, cut back on caffeine and balance it out with plenty of water. You can also sip on antioxidant-rich, refreshing teas to boost your skin health and radiance.

Maintain your vitamin D levels

If you have parched skin, there is a high probability that you are dealing with vitamin D deficiency. A deficiency of this vitamin may be the cause of dry or itchy skin because it activates the receptors that promote the creation of the skin barrier.
