Level 1: Daily Skincare Routine
Your daily skincare routine should include double cleansing, at least once a day to get that oil, dirt, makeup and pollution off your skin. Tone and moisturise your face. Use a lighter formula in the day and keep thicker creams or potent serums with Vitamin C for the night, along with an eye cream. Don’t skip sunscreen: it’s your armour against age spots, pigmentation and uneven skin tone.
Level 2: Weekly Skincare Routine
Your weekly routine should have a healthy balance of face masks: these could include clay masks if you have a T-zone, along with sheet masks to help you relax, pamper and glow. Make most of gua-sha tools and jadrollers to really boost blood circulation. Apart from this, use an AHA/BHA/PHA based exfoliator in the form of a peel that helps you exfoliate your skin. Don’t do this more than twice in a week. On days you don’t exfoliate your skin, use a retinoid or a peptide based cream. These help battle ageing and rejuvenate skin as your sleep. Remember, you don’t want to be doing all three of these things at the same time.
Level 3: Cleanups, Facials and Elective Cosmetic Procedures
Finally, your monthly skincare routine should include a facial. From a cleanup facial like my new Oasis Facial to the iconic Hydrafacial, try to schedule a facial every 30-40 days.
